Bullet for My Valentine play the Horden on Friday, same night as Sydney favourites The Whitlams play the Metro. Tex Perkins dons the black hat again for two Johnny Cash tribute shows at the Opera House, and the Lennon/McCartney tribute Let it Be returns for on final performance, also at the Opera House.
There's what looks like an interesting show at the Opera House Forecourt - Transports Exceptionnels is being billed as a duet between a man and a front-end loader... sounds intriguing. There are other events in the Spring Dance festival at the House so check out the new look Opera House website for a look.
AC/DC are back in town this week - albeit as an exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum. The Australia's Family Jewels exhibition displays a wide range of Acca-Dacca 'stuff' never displayed before, and it runs from this Saturday until November 28.
The 2010 Sydney University Book Fair starts this Saturday at the Great Hall, and the Willoughby Street Fair is also on Saturday.
The Wallabies will try and bring back some of that form (and luck) from South Africa on Saturday night when the take on the mighty All Blacks at ANZ Stadium. The NRL finals begin with three Sydney games to choose from this weekend.
