The streets of Chatswood will be transformed into a sea of market stalls as far as the eye can see for the annual StreetFair. Sustainability Street will showcase sustainable living ideas that help protect our local environment and combat climate change.

The Rocks Discovery Museum is a free, family friendly museum which tells the story of The Rocks area of Sydney from pre-European days to the present. Housed in a restored 1850s sandstone warehouse, The Rocks Discovery Museum is home to a unique collection of images and archaeological artefacts found in The Rocks. The exhibits are filled with interactive fun, using touch screens, audio and visual elements to bring the history of the area alive.

Each year the Sydney Division of Engineers Australia presents awards for the most outstanding Australian engineering projects. A selection of six award-winning projects is displayed at the Powerhouse Museum. Alan Villiers' photographs of his voyages aboard Arabian dhows (1938-39) record what he saw as the 'last days of sail' in the Red Sea, the Persian Gulf, the coasts of Arabia and north-east Africa. Villiers captures the age old Arabian sailing traditions and coastal trade routes, the great skills and hardship endured by the sailors and pearl divers- a unique way of life that has now passed.

The remarkable story of the Lu family, who arrived in Australia in 1977 on the Vietnamese refugee boat Tu Do (Freedom), is documented in 14 photographs by Michael Jensen and Andrew Frolows. The Australian National Maritime Museum acquired Tu Do in 1990 and has worked closely with the Lu family to record their experiences and to restore their boat.

The Hyde Park Barracks is one of Australia's most important convict sites. This new exhibition explores the convict experience, from transportation to forging a new life in the colony of New South Wales. It reveals the extraordinary contribution convict workers made to the building of early Sydney. Learn about the everyday lives of convicts who passed through the doors of the barracks between 1819 and 1848.

Columbus Line began operating between North America and Australia and New Zealand in 1959 and was the first company to regularly schedule a containerised shipping service.

Yiloga! Tiwi Footy is a photographic exhibition that brings together a series of 40 documentary-style colour and black and white images that explore the integral role of AFL football in Tiwi culture. Tiwi Islands, 80km north of Darwin, are home to the Tiwi people whose passion for Aussie Rules football is a positive influence on life in the community. About 900 of the 2600 people who live on the islands play AFL, which is said to be the country's highest participation rate.
