Walter Tuchin - Police Photographer
The work of retired 1950s police crime-scene photographer, Walter Tuchin, is now on display within the Archive Gallery of the Justice & Police Museum. Tuchin's photographs, taken on behalf of the Scientific Investigation Bureau, between 1952 and1957, document a variety of criminal investigations and accident scenes. Subjects, range from the banal to the shocking: we encounter stolen cutlery, the crumpled bonnet of a car, the hands of a strangler, and domestic murder in a backyard.

August: Osage County
Hailed by critics as the great American play of our time, August: Osage County is a rare gem of a drama. In the tradition of Eugene O'Neill, Tennessee Williams and Arthur Miller, playwright Tracy Letts tells a story of grand scale that is at once entertaining, funny and deeply moving. By showing us this family in meltdown Letts' play holds a magnifying glass up to American society today, revealing its tragic dysfunction and lost idealism.

Yellow Moon
It's Friday night. Stag Lee is 17, bored and figuring out how to make fast money from a life of crime. Silent Leila is at the all-night superstore feeling stupid and ugly, wishing she lived inside the pages of a celebrity magazine. A chance meeting. A life-changing event. In a heartbeat the duo are headed north in search of refuge. Marooned in an unforgiving landscape, this unlikely Bonnie and Clyde are forced to hunker down and confront who they really are.

Josh Thomas - Surprise
Australia got to know Josh Thomas in 2009 as the Gen Y team captain on the Network Ten's megahit Talkin' 'Bout Your Generation. We all felt we got to know him a little bit better when we watched him fall victim to an uncooperative meringue on episode one of Celebrity MasterChef. We saw him shine on Good News Week and take on whatever assignment the The 7PM Project set for him.

Long before Dorothy dropped in, two other girls meet in the Land of Oz. One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. How these two unlikely friends end up as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch makes for the most spellbinding new musical in years. WICKED, the untold story of the witches of Oz, features music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Godspell, Pippin, Academy Award® winner for Pocahontas and The Prince of Egypt) and book by Winnie Holzman.

Sons Of Sindbad - The Photographs Alan Villiers
Alan Villiers' photographs of his voyages aboard Arabian dhows (1938-39) record what he saw as the 'last days of sail' in the Red Sea, the Persian Gulf, the coasts of Arabia and north-east Africa. Villiers captures the age old Arabian sailing traditions and coastal trade routes, the great skills and hardship endured by the sailors and pearl divers- a unique way of life that has now passed.
